Terms of engagement
These terms apply to visitors of clouddataflowsys.digital and to clients who commission Harborline Compliance Partners for audits and related professional services.
Acceptance
By using this website or signing a scoping letter with Harborline Compliance Partners, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or commission our services. Engagement-specific terms in a signed scoping letter prevail over general website terms where they conflict.
Services described
Content on this site describes professional audit and review services for fintech operators. Descriptions are informational. A binding scope, fee, and timetable exist only in a written scoping letter accepted by both parties.
Intellectual property
Website text, visual design, and Harborline materials remain our intellectual property. Working papers created during an engagement remain Harborline’s property; the final report delivered to the client may be used internally and shared with regulators or counterparties as stated in the scoping letter. Clients may not republish our methodologies as their own products.
No legal advice
Our audits and reviews are independent assurance and advisory examinations of controls. They do not constitute legal advice or a guarantee of regulatory approval, licence grant, or examination outcome.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under the laws of Taiwan, Harborline’s aggregate liability arising from an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost financing or delayed licence decisions, except where liability cannot be limited by law.
Confidentiality
Both parties must protect confidential information obtained during an engagement, subject to legal compulsion and agreed disclosures to regulators or auditors.
Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from use of this website or from our professional services are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China). Courts in Taiwan have exclusive jurisdiction, unless a scoping letter specifies another forum for that engagement.
